West Virginia medical team backs cart into wall with injured Cincinnati player onboard
There was quite the painful-looking medical cart blooper on Saturday when the Cincinnati Bearcats headed a few hours east to Morgantown to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Bearcats defensive tackle Josh Hough went down with what was later revealed to be a lower-leg injury.
We've got to assume that the injury occurred on the field, or at least the first one did, because poor Hough took another knock while trying to get to the locker room on the back of the medical cart.

Oh man... the staffer driving that cart may never live that one down.
In fairness, the sidelines of a college football game seem like a tough place to drive anything with a wheelbase longer than a Smart ForTwo (remember those?). It's even tougher if you find yourself having to throw down a three-point turn with a 335-pound defensive tackle sitting on the back.

Having said that, I haven't gone through it myself, but I have to assume that item numero uno on the agenda at medical cart driving school is "Do not crash into a wall if there is an injured player on board, especially if they're the first thing that hits said wall."
If that's really how it goes, then this guy broke the golden rule.
Of course it was an accident — although it's a great way to thin out the opposition's roster a little bit — but Hough did not return to the game.
However, we may never know if he would've been fine had that little incident not happened.
Still, it could always be worse. It's not like he was on a backboard being loaded into an ambulance when the gurney tipped over with him still strapped to it.
Ask Mike Madonno what that one is like.
